Psoriasis natural treatment that works

Psoriasis is caused by bacteria infection and can be suffered by children and adults. The most obvious symptom is severe itchiness. Psoriasis can infect some of your body parts, including fingernails, toenails, elbows, knees, and scalp. Psoriasis’ other symptoms include redness, silvery scales upon the affected skin, cracks, and sometimes, bleed. Severe psoriasis might cause pain and swelling in the joints. Although not contagious, psoriasis can reoccur. Hence, you might want to heal the affected area thoroughly in order to prevent this issue. Psoriasis can be painful and sometimes is hard to get rid of.

Todays, there are various medications manufactured to heal psoriasis. However, some of the most effectives are in fact can be found just around the house. Some home ingredients can be used to ease itchiness, muscle soreness, and painful joints felt during psoriasis development by healing the affected areas. These treatments are better than chemical and manufactured medications in term of possible side effects might be caused.

Natural treatment for psoriasis

Healing psoriasis should be initiated by repairing body immune system, because a good immune system is very important for any disease healing. When our immune system works well, it will be able to fight against any bacteria and virus trying to infect our health. Therefore, the first treatment to consider should include health or dietary supplements. Below are some natural treatments that work for psoriasis:

  1. Supplements

Dietary or health supplements are beneficial for our body, including in healing psoriasis. You might want to consider any supplements containing vitamin D, vitamin E, or fish oil. These substances are beneficial for immune system strength which strengthen it while combating intruding bacteria. For psoriasis treatment, applying fish oil directly onto the affected areas are believed to work as well. Natural organic honey is also known as an effective treatment for psoriasis. Take any supplement or a spoonful honey once a day to heal psoriasis from the inside.

  1. Moisturizer

Psoriasis might happen because our skin is severely dry. Dry skin will produce dry scales, which trigger psoriasis. Hence, moisturizing skin properly is an important step in healing psoriasis. Dry, sensitive skin is more susceptible to psoriasis. Hence, moisturizer is a must for this skin type. Taking vitamin E supplement is also beneficial for your skin. It will promote collagen production which boost skin cells replacement.

  1. Olive oil or coconut oil

Olive oil or coconut oil can help reducing dry scales produced during psoriasis infection. These nutritional oils contain various nutrition which are helpful for skin regeneration and dry scales reduction. Apply one tablespoon of these oils onto the affected areas. Massage in circular direction to help the skin absorption. You may apply this treatment oil before bed and cover the affected fingernails or toenails with socks or gloves.

  1. Salt

Salt is an anti-infection agent which can be useful for various illness. Epsom salt solution can be applied to affected area to kill germs from outside and heal psoriasis faster. A salt bath can also help you treating the infection and thus, heal psoriasis faster.

  1. Sunlight

Morning sunlight is beneficial for psoriasis treatment, as it is rich of vitamin D. Exposing your affected areas to direct morning sunlight can help killing the bacteria. Be sure not to expose yourself after 9 in the morning to avoid excessive level of ultraviolet which might get the psoriasis worse, instead.

  1. Baking soda

Baking soda is also an effective home remedy for psoriasis, since it contains bicarbonate acid which can soothe pain and itches, and kill bacteria. Make a solution from a half cup of baking soda and a bucket of water. Soak a clean towel into the solution and apply it onto the affected areas. Repeat the step several times to soothe the whole itchy areas.

Home remedies are natural treatments which can be used for various illnesses. These might give less side effects if applied properly. Consistency is also needed when you are employing natural remedies. You might have to mix, rinse, and repeat everything manually. These treatments are reported working on severe psoriasis as long as used consecutively. Combining outer and inner treatments might give faster healing progress for psoriasis.
